The pandemic has challenged every business on the planet and many businesses have had to review and revise their business model during the various lockdowns and many have found a new way of ‘doing’.

As we now emerge in to a more ‘normal’ way of living and with much of the population being vaccinated there is a new confidence bubbling in the economy, despite the challenges of increased energy costs and supply chain issues – certainly Covid19 is still with us but as we learn more about managing the virus the sense of a new horizon is palpable.

Xacom has been supporting its clients throughout the pandemic and as our ethos has always been to serve and add value we’ve been busier than ever in a virtual environment.

As businesses begin to return to the office there is much more demand for class room based training and we spearheading this move with Covid-secure protocols.

Our state of the art training facility located in Society 1 Preston is ideally located and easily accessible via the motorway network as well as being a main hub on the Avanti West Coast rail line.

Clients have access to several high quality training rooms to suit the type of course and intervention as the images illustrate (Note for Marc – insert images of the training venue from the website)

We have re-launched our class room based training courses in Earned Value Management (EVM) and introduced brand new Project Planning and Controls training courses.

Our EVM course is an internationally recognised qualification accredited by the APMG.

Our new Project Controls courses deal with the key aspects of gathering and reviewing data, effective planning, monitoring and control and has been developed in partnership with the Association for Project Management (APM) and is based on their guide “Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring and Control – The Practical Project Management of Time, Cost and Risk”.

Both courses are delivered by our Founder Mick Higgins, who is a world leading expert in Project Controls and EVM with over 20 years of experience in multiple sectors across the globe.

Both courses are also available in a virtual environment if required.
